Client : Global Cricket School

Global Cricket School, an initiative founded and promoted by Sachin Bajaj in 2007, aims at providing a holistic cricketing EXPERIENCE that helps cricketers gain the competitive advantage. With programs designed for each segment of the audience be it enhancing first-class cricket, club cricket, amateur cricket or even upgrading coaching skills, the focus at GCS is to deliver potential cricket and sports stars to the world.

Challenges

It was hard to believe that such an esteemed cricket institute had a small online presence just on Facebook before we came in and shared out inputs. We knew that we had to build this from scratch via the channels of Instagram and Twitter. With there being a large data bank in the form of videos and photographs that people just didn’t know about, it was up to us to spread the word in the best way possible. We made sure that their guiding principle and mission, that is to provide Mass Cricket Development through cross-cultural training, is documented in the best manner possible.

Here’s what we did

In order to let the audience know about Global Cricket School both on an offline as well as a digital platform, Footmarque was in charge of promoting them to their target audience. We had to bridge the information gap between an academy who were providing services to the budding cricketer and someone who wanted to take his game to the next level. Using top-quality content and reaching out to outlets who would help spread the message, we made sure that Global Cricket School becomes the talk of the town.

Website

The thing with any sports-related website is that the viewer would like more of images and video rather than reading through chunks of text. Taking that into consideration, the entire Mentors page of the Global Cricket is filled with the legends who will take budding youngsters under their wing. The News & Gallery section makes sure that one gets to know about the day-to-day activities at the academy.  The list of partners tab mentioned on the home page lets the viewer knowing about Global Cricket School’s extensive network across cricketing circles around the world.

Picture perfect moments with the England team

Global Cricket School has a wide network amongst cricket circles across the world. Sachin Bajaj, the company CEO, hosted the England team at CCI, Mumbai on the eve of their Test match against India in December 2016. The glamorous event was attended by former Indian cricketers that included ex India captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Footmarque gave the event the coverage it merited in the form of social media and high-quality photography.

John Buchanan

Footmarque was once again in charge of photography, content creation and social media for a Global Cricket School event. This time it was the England Cricket team who were touring India in November 2016. Another hallmark event was John Buchanan’s book event “Learning From Legends” in Mumbai. Buchanan is a name synonymous with world cricket and we got the avid cricket fan to know about a great piece of literary work.

Sachin – Press Release

Footmarque was in charge of Public and Media relations for a Global Cricket School event that saw none other than Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar be in the limelight. Brett Lee

The Global Cricket School (GCS) does immensely good work to promote the game and help improve the skills of upcoming youngsters in India and abroad. Footmarque was in charge of media relations once again as former Aussie speedster Brett Lee took a few youngsters under his wing at a bowling camp at PJ Hindu Gymkhana on October 3, 2017. With no members of the media being invited to this event, it was up to us to draft a press release letting these outlets know about the one-day camp overseen by Brett Lee.

Social Media

Through the mediums of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and G+, we conceptualized and created a series of 15 posts per month for them talking about their various camps taking place across the world. In the form of photos, videos, and Facebook Live, we made sure that followers and supports of the elite cricket school were up-to-date with the happenings. Whenever there was a former cricketer in attendance at the camp, you could rest assured that you would get to know about it.
